I grew up an Air Force Brat. That does not mean I moved a lot, but more than most people. I lived from age 7-16 in the North and went to High School and College in the Midwest. I did not ever think about moving overseas but when I was 29 and pregnant with our first child God began moving us to consider Istanbul, Turkey – where we lived for 19 years. We grew to love it and it became home. While we lived in the same city the whole time we were overseas we did move to 5 different apartments. I think my early life prepared me for all of that moving.
